Responsibilities: -Manage, maintain, and update GIS databases -Analyze and interpret geographic data -Collect, analyze, and interpret geographic information systems data -Create maps and other visuals to represent data -Provide technical support for GIS users -Perform research and analysis to support GIS projects Requirements: -Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as geography, computer science, or engineering -Experience with GIS software and related technologies -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Ability to work with large datasets Preferred Skills: -Knowledge of geographic information systems principles and techniques -Familiarity with cartography and map-making -Knowledge of spatial analysis and data visualization -Experience with geographic information systems software and related technologies -Familiarity with database management systems and SQL -Experience with web mapping technologies
